This is just a preview of thngs to come as we aim to fill up the website with as much information as possible to insure a softball atmosphere will be here for seasons to come. 

You have to be hungry and thirsty if you want change. This goes into figuring out what makes sense for the teams as well as their respected players because the window of opportunity is short and maybe if we can bridge the gap between keeping things interesting we shall make a difference

If we do this correctly we can crown 4 champions in 1 weekend which would be a record for any softball tournament and it's only based on groups of 4 so if you look at it 16 teams will go to war and with a small fee of having fun and facing new threats for the future you could win cool hoodies and assorted prizes not mentioned here 

Weeknight Modified 

• 6:30 pm start time between Tursday and Friday nights only ( 7 week season )
• league fee per team $ 750 / ump fees per team $ 100 which includes softballs provided 
• May 28th 

Saturday Modified 

• games played between 10 am - 1 pm
• league fee per team $ 600 / ump fees per team $ 100 which includes softballs provided 
• season begins June 6th 

Happy Tuesday to one and all as the weather ie beaming hot today but softball talk is in the air especially with weekend tournament games filling the air as we hope to bring the best out of all the teams participating this weekend between both Saturday and Sunday. I did say we would add more pictures to the mix and we will keep our word as best as possible with more photos coming this weekend 

With word spreading out that we are also entering the modifed world for weeknights and bioth Saturday and Sunday there is a change of fresh air in the mix as we aim to spice things up here as well. Saturday modified division hoping to jump off June 6th with games played between 10 am - 1 pm

Don't worry we will not leave the lob world out of the mix. All things have a change of plans and with more designs coming for all to be involved with we shall see which ideas will clear the fence first 

I got yelled at about this situation involving the womens division but with so much modified going on we need to switch gears and bring the womens softball lob division to life. 

We will put the feelings out there and see where this goes. Equal opportunity for all involved

More designs to be completed but as I contnue to address all the latest buzz happening in and around softball we shall test the waters on different fronts between Saturday and Sunday

The Players softball lounge has a different taste of expectations and if we do this rightly things can open new champters to be found out. 

New arrivals could shape the landscape as to what will become because players want the smoke and if we keep labeling thnigs between what A , B , C are we will not move forward. Teams need a challenge of sorts and between creating a top tier and a middkle tier we hope to move the wand further not backwards

The weather is hot and days will be long. Stay hydrated and make the most of your chances. The Players softball lounge will open it's doors real soon 

Stay hydrated as much as possible. Guys I will be touring the softball area promoting good softball games no matter which league your playing in as sportsmanship goes a long way and if you show the players love they will return the love one day 

Bring change to an atmosphere like never before and things will work itself out. Players have a new platform to be apart of and yes we are building a new website since this one is supposedly closing it's doors in a few months. It will be player friendly and yes all things will be updated including schedules and team stats for the awards to be given out 

We ask for a chance to prove ourselves based upon merit. The doors will swing wide open with new chances for both males and females alike

Tournament Rules 

1. Forfeit times is 20 minutes unless than 8 players to begin tournament play
2. All tournament games are 6 innings with a 1-1 count 
3. 3 games guaranteed / top 2 teams with the best record after round 3 competes for the tournament championship 
4. ib the event of a tie the first deciding vote goes to head to head matchup , the 2nd decision goes to runs scored during the tournament and finally the least amount of runs given up
5. ump fees per round $ 30 per team as the league supplies the softballs for the event

Another weekend is in the books as I made some rounds around the softball community and checked in on the players as we always attempt to showcase how the softball world goes whether you win or lose but the one common goal is to compete

New arrivals have arrived and made quite the impact as Frank Sanchez from team Smoke came in strong with a 4-6 performance yesterday 

We met up with the GATTOS at Cunningham park yesterday and they swept Smoke. Good bunch of guys 

Never doubt your instincts and know whether you win or lose tomorrow is another day 

Memorial day weekend tournament is this weekend and we have Saturday action going with lob events starting at 8:30 am and modified action happening at 1 pm. Are the cards in our favor ? 

Once all teams are confirmed for this Saturday we will post all games including match ups as we expect to have a weekend of games and more picture taken so that we can add it to our group page on FACEBOOK under the PLAYERS SOFTBALL LOUNGE 

Remember once we get past Saturdays events on Sunday another host of games will be going down. 

Saturday morning modified will hopefully jump off on June 6th with games between 10 am - 1 pm for those who want the smoke nice and early

The Players Softball Lounge will always be about the players whether I know them directly or indirectly. They all deserve a place to shine 

We were all there at one point or another as we have watched countless wars go down and the end results remains the same. Do what you can until you can't no more 

More photos will surface in the coming days especially with the weekend Memorial Day tournament coming around the corner and this time we have added a twist from the normal where in the morning slots (8:3o am start times) we will have the lob teams competing for championship hoodies and then in the afternoon (1 pm start time) the modified world will come alive to have a shot at winning hoodies as well

All of these tournaments will be setting up the next big tournament for JULY 4TH weekend entitled " RAMPAGE " then followed by the BATTLE OF THE BATS big finale.

Players play. We just going to add some spice to the mix and insure playing here will be on many levels and then some 

I wanted to thank all the players and respected teams who have allowed me to showcase the love of the game and for bringing to life new energy waves that will help us into the future 

Remember we have many awards to give out this season coming and for those who want the speed remember the 1st lounge opens it's doors hopefully on May 28th for weekenights where we play at 6:30 pm on Thursdays and Friday nights only. June 6th we open the modified world on Saturdays between 10 am - 1 pm.

The good thing about time is having a chance to think about all things and see what needs to be fixed. Change the way they see you and improve all your strengths and weakness where no flaws will be found. A journey lasts a lifetime but time is shortened by what should have been. 

We are repairing the damages which have been caused and the leaks will spring no more. All divisions will be restored and we shall bridge the gap between skill levels as best as possible. 

Fall season around the corner and new mini seasons will begin to appear soon as we want teams to prepare for a new type of future to come for both lob and modified

Our rivalry with the White sox is coming around the corner in a few weeks. Smoke has to get prepared for new trials and tribulations 

Players will have many challenges ahead and we look to see which players make the player of the week honor list 

Umpires make the league especially when you have strong umpires who knows the rules and regulations

Weeknights modified we hoping to get off the ground as of May 28th and Saturdays we hoping to jump off by June 6th 

Time to jump off and start running towards new grounds and new heights 

Players softball lounge is ready to go. Question is are you ready for change ? 

Rosters are capped at 14 players for the season 

Batters are capped at 12 players maximum 

Courtesy runners are capped at 3 players per team with 1 added player exception if due to injury at any point in the game where the player gets hurt

Illegal Bats any bat that is shaven is not allowed besides triple wall bats and any senior wall bats

1st mercy rule in effect is 15 runs by the 3rd inning / 2nd mercy rule in effect is 10 runs by the 4th inning or any point thereafter 

Forfeit rules are 20 minutes for the 1st game with any team having less than 8 players to start the game / in the event the 1st game is forfeited the team who forfeits must pay half of the other team's umpire fees ($150) and if both games are forfeited after an additional 25 minutes is granted the forfeiting team is responsible for both teams ump fees for the day ($200)

Ump fee per team are $ 100 which includes softballs provided by the league 

Managers must turn in their stats on a weekly basis as we provide awards for both the pitchers and the hitters to be won during the season 

We will discuss a possible arrangement for field maintenance only in the event it rains during the week in which all teams will be charged a small fee of $ 25 so that we can make arrangements to have the field done before our games are played which we hope to do the day before !

Uniforms must be worn by all teams as we want a certain appearance and we will be taking pitcures on a weekly basis as all pictures on posted on FACEBOOK under the PLAYERS SOFTBALL LOUNGE and players can also join the site for weekly updates and stories as well

Schedules are done in advance so that no confusion or going week to week is accepted.

Stats are updated once the day is over or by the next day as teams need to prepare for next weeks opponent

No slingshot pitching or windmill pitching of any kind which also goes for quick pitching

Playoff tiers will be broken into 2 major areas as all teams make the playoffs regardless of record but the main playoffs are for the 1st 6 teams who qualify for the post season and the bottom 2 teams will compete for the wild card championship . Hoodies and team trophy are awarded for the main tier champions and the wild card champions wins shirts + trophy. The main tier champion gets into the following season for free

There is no stealing at any point and runners can tag up from any base

The Players Softball Lounge is a players atmosphere where we come together on a weekly basis to have fun and be the best version of ourselves from season to season. We aim to be on point and insure that all things are fair to the best of our abilities at all time. We post pictures of the teams and players to show unity and those moments that are long forgotten even when we stop playing. Stats are kept on a weekly basis to insure stability as well as keeping an eye on all players playing in this league. Weekly stories and game inputs are posted for entertainment as to keep a positive sports atmosphere going at all times and the picks are just that picks and I can be wrong or I might be right but in the end it's about having fun
