All things considered I aim to keep my promise to the very best of my abilities that softball will be a place where we can play softball and have fun. It's not to say that you are not having fun but inspiring players to want to be apart of something ore should be a challenge enough whether you play lob , modified or coed or even women's softball. 

You never know who will come to town but be prepared for anything to reach the surface

A new wave of teams will come this season and seasons to come. I enjoy showing the spotlght of players jsut relaxing whether they win or lose. 

Show up and make a difference. You never know what the outcome can be 

I believe anything is possible. Yeah I got knocked down but in life it's not how you start but how you finish. My journey is far from over 

Happy Memorial Day weekend to all the softball players and respected members of the armed forces around the world. We had planned a series of tournaments for this weekend between both Saturday and Sunday but for now all the Saturday games have been cancelled and we shall see what develops between today and tomorrow and see if anything can pop off on Sunday but if not we will just have family time and enjoy the weekend for what it is

Saturday Modified division hopefully begins June 6th as we are looking for at least 5 more teams to join us and have fun. League fee per team is only $ 600 and it's only a 7 week season plus playoffs. Please remember that teams must be able to ply between 10 am - 1 pm but we are aiming to use 1 park for this event 

Regular season begins June 6th and ends July 25th with all teams making the playoffs but their will be a main tier champion who plays for hoodies and the wild card championsh who play for shirts as you know they will be championship shirts that you will be proud of 

 Saturday Fall Modifed season will begin Aug 15th as we aim to bring new divisions to life as the word will spread on how the league will be run. For now teams only need to have matching shirts which must be the same across the boarde no matter what. By 2027 we aim to be in full uniform mode which includes the pants in which they can be softball pants or softball shorts but the players uniforms must be the same as we want our appearance to reflect positivity since we also takes pictures as well

 Sunday Modified Fall season begins Aug 16th and as we stated before we aim to have all the schedules done along with the league insurance on point and we want to make sure that all things are on point going forward. I always pride myself on making sure the teams know where they are playing and please note I'm also working on getting several fields to keep the 9 am slot in order but in the event I can't get enough am slots I will utilize 1 park where games will be at 8:30 am & 11:30 am which of course makes my life more easier but we shall see where this goes

Please note as a friendly reminder that we do not do A , B , C divisions here as we aim to make our makr totally different as the league continues to build up. No sling shot pitching allowed neither windmill style of pitching nor do we allow quick pitching either. The league in the beginning stages will put all the teams that join first and as we progress over the course of time teams will be placed based upon their standings from the previous season but the champions who win remain in the division they win until they are no longer champions . Ump fees which are a $ 100 per team comes with softballs included so their will be no pressure of managers having to look for softballs as it will be provided but in the event of an emergency if we cannot get softballs then the managers will be notified to make adjustments and the ump fees will be reduced to $ 80 per team. Rosters cannot exceed more than 15 players as we see no reason to have 18 players when no one clearly carries that amount especially when your only able to bat the maximum of 12 players

The league wants to recognize all it's players to the best of their abilities and we have many awards to give out and with the help of the managers we can achieve these goals especially in the areas of bragging rights. If we can build it we can achieve it

Saturday Leopards den will be our opening debut as we currently have 3 teams and we are looking for 5 more teams to reach our maximum goal of 8. As the league hopes to grow in the near future we will look to bring back the PRIMETIME division and the DYNASTY division which was used in the lob world and we will proceed to introduce new divisions from that point on but we will always keep a goal of 8 teams in each bracket in order to give everyone else a fighting chance to compete. Hoodies are the now thing but by the fall or the summer of 2027 new prizes will be introduced as we hope to keep the buzz alive and continue to give you new championship things to win.

Rosters are capped at 14 players for the season 

Batters are capped at 12 players maximum 

Courtesy runners are capped at 3 players per team with 1 added player exception if due to injury at any point in the game where the player gets hurt

Illegal Bats any bat that is shaven is not allowed besides triple wall bats and any senior wall bats

1st mercy rule in effect is 15 runs by the 3rd inning / 2nd mercy rule in effect is 10 runs by the 4th inning or any point thereafter 

Forfeit rules are 20 minutes for the 1st game with any team having less than 8 players to start the game / in the event the 1st game is forfeited the team who forfeits must pay half of the other team's umpire fees ($150) and if both games are forfeited after an additional 25 minutes is granted the forfeiting team is responsible for both teams ump fees for the day ($200)

Ump fee per team are $ 100 which includes softballs provided by the league 

Managers must turn in their stats on a weekly basis as we provide awards for both the pitchers and the hitters to be won during the season 

We will discuss a possible arrangement for field maintenance only in the event it rains during the week in which all teams will be charged a small fee of $ 25 so that we can make arrangements to have the field done before our games are played which we hope to do the day before !

Uniforms must be worn by all teams as we want a certain appearance and we will be taking pitcures on a weekly basis as all pictures on posted on FACEBOOK under the PLAYERS SOFTBALL LOUNGE and players can also join the site for weekly updates and stories as well

Schedules are done in advance so that no confusion or going week to week is accepted.

Stats are updated once the day is over or by the next day as teams need to prepare for next weeks opponent

No slingshot pitching or windmill pitching of any kind which also goes for quick pitching

Playoff tiers will be broken into 2 major areas as all teams make the playoffs regardless of record but the main playoffs are for the 1st 6 teams who qualify for the post season and the bottom 2 teams will compete for the wild card championship . Hoodies and team trophy are awarded for the main tier champions and the wild card champions wins shirts + trophy. The main tier champion gets into the following season for free

There is no stealing at any point and runners can tag up from any base

The Players Softball Lounge is a players atmosphere where we come together on a weekly basis to have fun and be the best version of ourselves from season to season. We aim to be on point and insure that all things are fair to the best of our abilities at all time. We post pictures of the teams and players to show unity and those moments that are long forgotten even when we stop playing. Stats are kept on a weekly basis to insure stability as well as keeping an eye on all players playing in this league. Weekly stories and game inputs are posted for entertainment as to keep a positive sports atmosphere going at all times and the picks are just that picks and I can be wrong or I might be right but in the end it's about having fun
