Two milestones took place on Middlesex County hardwoods on Thursday as Sayreville captured the White Division crown of the GMC and Sky Harris of Cardinal McCarrick scored his 1,000th point.  Sayreville, 17-2 with a 15-game winning streak and unbeaten in the 2014 portion of the 2013-14 season, won its first crown since the GMC was formed in 1985.

Harris, in his second year at McCarrick after transferring from J.P. Stevens, became the ninth player from the GMC to go over 1,000 points and the sixth this season. Harris, a 6-3 left-handed forward who has 86 career 3-pointers, scored his grand on a tough baseline jumper during the second quarter of a loss at Monroe.
