After a couple sparring sessions during the past couple weeks of Spring Training, the Maxwell Yankees and Maxwell Iron Birds stepped into the big ring Friday night as Opening Day kicked off the Maxwell Rec 2016 baseball season.   Maxwell featured its two exciting 8u teams to have a fun-filled and action packed Opening Night of baseball to prelude to the rest of the Maxwell baseball and softball squads Opening Day's to follow the next day.
