On Monday night, familiar foes squared off as the StickMen and Prestige Worldwide entertained us with a thrilling 1^st half. PW led 20-16 after the 1^st quarter and stumbled a little in the 2^nd to trail 33-30 at the halftime break. Then the wheels fell off. StickMen took control of the game in a dominant 3^rd stanza controlling the momentum and outscoring Prestige 34-13 and sealing the contest en route to a 92-68 victory. StickMen’s Brett Jakubec had his stamp all over the win amassing 20 points, 11 rebounds, 8 steals and 7 assists before fouling out once the outcome had been decided. This rollercoaster StickMen team plays in peaks and valleys and has the ability to create separation in a game at the blink of an eye. To stand a chance at the coveted Spring League title they will need to find a way to play in the peaks more frequently during the playoffs. This will be an interesting team to watch as a potential dark horse.
