Game 1

       Cody Jefferies started for Cumberland Orioles and went the distance in the heart breaking 5-6 loss, scattering 7 hits, 3 walks and 2 strikeouts, Jefferies also had 2 of Cumberlands 8 hits, Brent Parrish had an RBI double for Cumberland, while Garrett Shoemaker singled twice with an RBI, while Hunter Jenkins tripled for Cumberland. Brunswick took advantage of free passes and had timely hits to top Cumberland in the opening game. 

Game 2

      Ben Russell started on the mound for Cumberland absorbing the loss, allowing 7 hits, 7 runs, 3 walks and 1 strikeout in 5 1/3 innings, before giving away to Cole Smith who threw 1 2/3 innings allowing 2 hits, 3 runs and 2 walks. Cole Smith had Cumberlands 2 RBIs with a double in the 3rd, Hunter Jenkins singled twice and Tristan Graeff singled and doubled. Brunswick continued to put the ball in play and hit the ball hard to sweep Cumberland, in the first meeting for these 2 teams.

Cumberland Orioles are now 3-2-1, after Mount Savage forfeited 2 games Saturday, the Orioles take on the Oakland Oaks at Garrett College 1 pm next Saturday in a rematch of last years Championship Series.
