After taking the regular season meeting against the StickMen by 10 and their only loss coming to the powerhouse Shaqtin’ Fools, Vegas had C.R.E.A.M as heavy favorites in the 1^st semi-final match. What they didn’t account for was that StickMen would elevate their game and rise to the occasion. StickMen took a page out of the C.R.E.A.M recipe for success and dished out 22 assists to C.R.E.A.M’s 13 and seemed more efficient offensively than they have been all season long – not to mention the major X-factor by the name of Keaton Souster. Averaging 8 points per game heading into the contest (5^th best on his team), Souster exploded for a game-high 19 – missing only 3 shots from the field. StickMen shocked the world and made someone rich in Sin City with their impressive 67-59 win.
