Game 1 Orioles 2 - Titans 0
Wade McGee threw 7 shutout innings of 2 hit baseball to push the Orioles past the titans in the opening game. Roy Jeffereys led the offense with 2 hits and a run scored. Orioles put 1 run up in the 2nd on a Garrett Shoemaker walk and singles by Dylan Wilson, Roy Jeffereys then an RBI single by Hunter Jenkins; the Orioles scored an insurance run in the top of the 7th by a single by Roy Jeffereys followed by a single by Cody Jeffereys and the runners were advanced on a Matt Wright Sacrifice and a pass ball by the catcher allowed Jeffereys to score, which gave McGee all the runs he needed in his 2nd dominate performance of the season.
Game 2 Orioles 3 - Titans 5
Orioles blew a late game lead and allowed the Titans to score 3 in the 6th to top the Orioles. Dylan Wilson got the start for the O's going 5 2/3 allowing 10 hits, 2 walks and 3 strikeouts, while Cody Jeffereys came in relief with the bases loaded to get a pop out, to limit the damage. Orioles scored 1 in the 1st, 4th and 5th innings. Brent Parrish, Ben Russell and Roy Jeffereys all had 2 hits a piece, while Hunter Jenkins doubled for the O's.
Orioles are now 13-6-1 overall and 12-4 in league play, Orioles host the Mount Savage Ol' Germans next Saturday July 15th at Legion Field for a 1pm start time.
