Orioles swept semi finals, heading to championship

Orioles 5 - Titans 1

Orioles set sights on championship series with a sweep of the Titans in the semi-finals. Cody Ellsworth went the distance for the Orioles only allowing a first inning unearned run, and didnt allow another runner on base until the 7th. allowing 4 hits, 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Orioles were held off the board until the bottom half of the 6th, Roy Jefferys and Hunter Jenkins singled back to back, Cole Smith moved the runners over to 2nd and 3rd. Roy Jefferys stole home to tie the score, Ben Russells RBI single pushed Hunter Jenkins across to give the Os the lead. Cody Ellsworth, Chris Wilson, Brent Parrish and Matt Wright all singled in a row to push 3 more runs across and that was more than enough for Ellsworth who dominated the rest of the game after the 1st inning.

Orioles are now 22-4 in league play and 23-6-1 overall. Orioles await the results of Oakland/Petersburg series to see who they will play next weekend in the championship series.
