Bryce Nightengale, a right-handed pitcher who played for the Tri-State Titans and Cumberland Orioles in the PenMar-WV League, was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 16th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball amateur draft.

Nightengale was drafted after his junior season at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and was among the Atlantic 10 Conference's top pitchers in several categories.
