Orioles 5 - Petersburg River Rats 2
Orioles pitcher Davey "Rhino" Rinehart earns his 2nd win of the season, going 7 strong innings allowing 8 hits, 2 runs, 3 strikeouts, and 0 walks. Orioles got the scoring started early Hunter Jenkins led off the game with a walk, followed by a Roy Jefferys single, then advanced to 3rd on a Chris wilson sacrifice, Ben Russell then walked to load the bases. Brent Parrish then pushed Jenkins across on a Fielders Choice. Petersburg answered in the next inning piecing together 3 singles. The Orioles then answered with a 4 spot in the 4th inning starting with a Tristan Graeff walk, followed by back to back singles by Cody Jefferys and Hunter Jenkins, 2 runs then scored on pass balls, Hunter was pushed across by a Chris Wilson RBi single. Ben Russell then walked to put runners on the corners, and a perfectly excueted double steal pushed Wilson across.
Game 2
Orioles 3 - Petersburg 2
Wade McGee matched Davey Rinehart on the day winning his 2nd game of the season, Wade threw 8 innings, allowing 2 unearned runs, 10 strikeouts,and 2 walks. Petersburg scored there 2 unearned runs in bottom half of the 3rd. Orioles were kept off the board until the top half of the 5th inning, when Brent Parrish led off with a walk, and scored on a deep double by Gage Shaffer, who then was moved to 3rd by a perfect sacrifice bunt by Davey Rinehart and scored on a Tristan Graeff double. The scored stayed 2 - 2 pushing the game to extra innings, the River Rats led off with a single and stolen base putting the winning run on 2nd base, Wade McGee then struck the next batter out, petersburg immediately followed with another single, the Orioles then intentionally walked the next batter to load the bases. Wade McGee then promptly struck out the next 2 batters sending the game into extra innings. Orioles then scored the 3rd run in the top half of the 8th inning, with a Chris Wilson walk, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Ben Russell, Brent Parrish then reach on a error, followed by another Gage Shaffer double pushing Chris Wilson across. Wade returned to finish the game retiring the first 3 hitters to end the game, and pushing the Orioles win streak to 5
