December 14, 2025

  • 10-year DH, Metro Magic Manager Jack Aigner retires from MLW.

 

December 16, 2025

  • 3-year Metro Magic pitcher RJ Walgate is named new Manager of the Metro Magic.

 

April 17, 2026

  • MLW announces the following 13 players are no longer with the league: Jake Sullivan IV (DOW), Sawyer Behen (GLG), Dustin Staggs (GLG), Jeremy Adams (GLG), Jordan Robles (MID), Preston Kolm (MID), Dallas Allen (EAS), Landon Yurgaites (EAS), Evan Trakhman (EAS), Sean Hornberger (WES), Jaxen Pearson (WES), Grant Miller (MET), and John Paul Gunn (MET).

  • MLW welcomes in a new class of 12 players across 5 different states in 2026, via the Draft or as Undrafted Free Agents: Aiden McCarthy (NY/COA/#1), John Paul Neuenschwander (MI/DOW/#2), Cooper Burkel (IL/WES/#3), Jake Davey (PA/MID/#4), Connor McCann (OH/COA/#5), Johnny Dembowski (MI/MET/#6), Derek Walker (MI/GLG/#7), Sarah Huber (IL/EAS/#8), Aiden Revette (MI/EAS/UDFA), Gage Beers (MI/MID/UDFA), Cooper Schoch (OH/MET/UDFA), and Liam Porter (MI/MET/UDFA).

  • Metro Magic P Trevor Bonham is traded to the Midwest Mallards during the 2026 MLW Draft (at the #6 pick).

  • Metro Magic DH Jordan Kurdi is released, and consequently, picked up by the Great Lakes Gators.

May 5, 2026

  • Eastern Eagles OF Landon Yurgaites has been reinstated to the team after successful interview & review process with league.
