Hi All! 

What an amazing playoff run this season!  Lots of high octane scoring, blocked shots, and fantastic saves by every team! Lot of fun this year! 

Semi Finals, game 1 Rats took on the Pineapple gang. Rats managed to secure the win and moved onto the final

Semi Final, game 2 Smokey Joes took on Stone Hands and, for the 5th season in a row, Joes won and advanced to the finals to take on the River Rats

The stage was set for a fantastic last game of the season, The defending cup champs from last season, Smokey Joes, would be taking on the 1st seeded River Rats. 

1st Period: What a back and forth game... Rats come out strong with a 3-0 start in the 1st, But Smokey Joes would get one back to make the score 1-3 heading into the 2nd period. 

2nd Period: Belonged to Smokey Joes, Pressuring the Defense of the Rats to the edge, were able to get the game tied at 3-3. Rats would go on to take the lead back at 4-3, but the Joes would yet again tie it at 4-4 before the end of the 2nd. 

3rd Period: This is it. Both teams tied at 4-4, Smokey Joes would start the scoring off and take there 1st lead of the game at 5-4. The River Rats would battle back though, J-mac with an incredible breakaway goal, Ties it at 5-5. With time running out, Jordan Cookson Ripped a shot from the point which would deflect of a Smokey Joes Defenseman and bounce in, Giving the Rats a 6-5 lead. 

Smokey Joes pulled the goalie to get an extra attacker out there and attempt to tie it yet again. But with 40 secs left, Gianni managed an empty net goal to secure the win for the River Rats, a final score of 7-5. 

Overall, an amazing back and forth battle!

I just wanted to Thank everyone for a great season! Thank you to the Capts for helping run it, I couldn't do it without you guys for sure and I immensely appriciate it! 

I big shoutout and Thank you to Ronnie! He does so much as well to help the league run smoothly and deserves all the credit in the world. Thank you Ron! 

And thank you to all the players who participate! you all work to run a great, clean game and I love you all for that. I look forward to seeing you in the fall!
