The Cowboys had trouble keeping up with Wamogo in a 9-1 loss on Wednesday.
Wamogo got on the board in the second inning after Austin Gilbert singled, scoring one run.
Travis Lipinsky stepped on the hill first for the Cowboys. The lefty surrendered grou hits and three runs (one earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out seven and walking five. John Gilbert threw the entire game for the Warriors surrendering three hits and one run (zero earned), striking out four and walking one.
Cyrus Gerena, Chase Reynolds, and Travis Lipinsky each collected one hit for the Cowboys.
Gilbert led Wamogo with two hits in three at bats. DJ Willenbrock and Quinn Coffey each drove in two runs for Wamogo. Wamogo had a good eye at the plate with nine walks in the game. Patrick Weaving, Josh DeLello, Coffey, and Derek DeNigris led the team with two walks each.
