MLW Wiffle Ball

MLW IS HEADED BACK TO TEXAS!! Alongside Texas Rangers All-Star third baseman & MLW fan, Josh Jung, the "Jung's Backyard Battle" Tournament will be held at Globe Life Field, benefitting the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation & Miracle League. This will be an all-day event on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The tournament format consists of all teams playing two pool play games in the morning to afternoon, with the top 4 or 8 teams (depending on # of registered teams) in each division advancing for single-elimination bracket play in the evening.

There will also be an all-day Home Run Derby occurring on its own designated field for the chance to win an MLW/Rangers merchandise prize-pack, eligible for all tournament participants! There will be a $10 fee to enter, and each batter will have 10 outs to hit as many home runs as they can. We will keep a running-leaderboard throughout the entire day and announce the winner later that night (1 winner per age division)!

Date- Sunday, January 12, 2025

Registration deadline -- 6 PM ET on Monday, January 6, 2025 (schedule to be released the following morning)

Location- Globe Life Field, 734 Stadium Drive, Arlington, TX, 76011

Fees- $145 per team, $25 per non-participating attendee (general admission)

Team size- 3-4 players

Age divisions- 10-12, 13-15, 16+

Game length- 4 innings (full rule book below)
