Eastern A (Billings)
• Lockwood 64, Havre 54 (quarterfinals): The Blue Ponie built a five-point lead in the first quarter against Lockwood and maintained it through the first half. Yet, Lockwood outscored Havre 16-7 in the third quarter and padded the lead in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Kobe Blake paced the Lions with 22 points. Zicciah Callison-Blake pitched in with 17 points. Tre Gary and Daxton Ostwalt led Havre with 24 points and 19 points, respectively.
• Glendive 83, Hardin 70 (quarterfinals): The Red Devils scored at least 19 points in each stanza on Thursday as they pulled away from Hardin, thanks to 40 points in the second half after 43 in the first half.
• Billings Central 76, Miles City 51 (quarterfinals): A 16-3 run in the fourth quarter allowed Billings Central to move past Miles City into the semifinal round of the Eastern A. Billings Central led 18-12 after the first quarter and 38-34 at the end of the first half. Central scored 22 in the third and ran away in the fourth to win by 25. Toby Stewart scored 22 points for the Rams. Howie Martin added 13 and Cy Hansen tacked on 11. Rylin Gentry did his best to keep the Cowboys in it with 16 points. Kordt Smith did the same with 15.
• East Helena 61, Lewistown 52 (quarterfinals): The Vigilantes notched their first-ever divisional tournament win on Thursday night in Billings after scoring 40 points in the second half, 20 in the third and fourth quarters to knock off Lewistown and reach the semifinals. Lewistown led 25-21 at the break, but EHHS caught fire in the second half to win by nine. DeonDray Ellis led East Helena with 17 points. Talen Thatcher added 12 and Slade Olson contributed with 11. Lucas Golik led the Eagles with 14. Kason Brown wound up with 12 and Madden Norslien managed 10.

Eastern A (Billings)
• Lockwood 64, Glendive 51 (semifinal): The Lions punched their ticket to the Class A state tournament with a 13-point win over Glendive to reach the Eastern A championship game. Four Lockwood players reached double figures, led by Kobe Blake with 15. Jude Barnett (14), Zicciah Callison-Blake (13) and Nate Davis (10) were the others. Cy Eaton had 17 to pace the Red Devils. Carter Smsler had 13 in the loss.

• Billings Central 62, East Helena 50 (semifinal): East Helena trailed 25-22 at the half against Billings Central, but the Rams pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Vigilantes 17-8 in the stanza to take control of the game. Central held on for the win and will play Lockwood for the Eastern A title on Saturday. East Helena will play Havre for a berth at the Class A state tournament on Saturday. Darcy Merchant led the Rams with 16 points. Howie Martin wasn’t far behind with 14 points. Will Snell also had 10. DeonDray Ellis did all he could for East Helena with 27 points. Talen Thatcher had 11.
• Havre 68, Hardin 66 (loser-out): It took 30 points from Tre Gary, but the Havre Blue Ponies kept their state tournament hopes alive for another day with a 68-66 win over Hardin. Havre grabbed a seven-point lead, thanks to 25 in the first quarter, but it was a back-and-forth affair. Daxton Ostwalt scored 18 points in the win. Jonathan takes Enemy scored 18 to lead the Bulldogs. Jared Killsback also managed 13. Havre will advance to the state tournament with a win on Saturday morning.
• Lewistown 59, Miles City 48 (loser-out): The Eagles outscored Miles City 16-3 in the opening quarter and never looked back in an elimination-game victory. Kason Brown scored 15 for Lewistown, while Madden Norslien (10) and McKay Shobe (11) also scored in double figures. Jace Erienbusch had the team high for Miles City with nine. Kordt Smith and Rylin Gentry each had eight.
