~Greater Johnstown Youth League~

 ~GREATER JOHNSTOWN YOUTH LEAGUE~ 

The Greater Johnstown Youth League is a baseball / softball league that started in 1987 with the idea to give the kids a chance to learn the fundamentals of the sport. Our league is a co-ed league so girls can play baseball up until they are baseball age 12. After that, they can move up to softball or even try out for our pony league that was started in 2025. While learning the sport we strive to have fun with the practices and games as much as possible. It helps the kids build friendships that can go beyond the field and for the rest of their lives. We provide a safe and fun enviroment for all of the kids whether they are there to play baseball / softball, to watch the games, or play utilize our playground. We do have two concession stands, one down at B Field and the main concession stand is up by A Field. There is also restroom facilities for everyone to use and that is located in our field house. They are handicap accessable for anyone that has a disability. A reminder to all parents that the GJYL Grounds are a smoke free facility and that is for the best intrest of the children that are there on a daily basis.
