It was a glorious day that would see an unheard of experience- a never before in a lifetime experience unfold

Bob and Steve versus Glen and Nick. Bob is low and generously offers 2 stokes on the from nine and 1 on the back to his playing partners

The first fun moment is Nick taking a penalty drop on two and then going through tree branches to a foot for a par that halved Stephen’s skulled chip. Bob did miss his ten foot birdie putt.


Stephen then holes out from 52 yards for eagle on 4. Magnificent. One up


Strokes on 5. Stephen goes out of bounds on 5. Eagle Double. Bounce back. Glen is routine par. Even.


Bob and Nick chip from the same place on 7. One up Glen and Nick.


Right side is very attractive on 11 for all but Nick. Par wins. Two up


Glen has twenty feet for par on 15. Makes. Bob has 21 feet for birdie. Three putts. Three up


Stephen wins 16 with a five footer. Two down


Stephen wins 17 with par when Nick misses from four feet. One down.


Glen is carrying Glen and Nick, and decides to have a rest. Nick goes in the hazard left. Stephen is tired. Bob gets to twelve feet from a hundred yards. Nick has hacked out of the hazard, whacked a 3 wood. to 65 yards and not screwed up his shot. Bob misses. Nick holes from four feet for a half. Glen. Wins

And the historic note is that Bob didn’t contribute on a single hole. Not one. Nada. Zippo. First time ever. Isn’t life grand.
