Boosters Overview

Program Overview: The captain's parents coordinate activities for the HHS Boys Soccer Program and all of the players. We need your help to make this season a success! Here is a bit of what you can expect...

Summer activities: new June Tournament, 3 teams in Braintree 6v6 League, 1 team in Union Point 11v11 League, Fitness sessions with Tyson, yo-yo practice with Coach McGovern, Good to Great Camp at Roger Williams and Captain's Practices

Jamboree: This Saturday, August 30th, Hingham will host a pre-season Jamboree for the Varsity and JV teams. Following the morning games, the Boosters will host lunch for all three teams (parents & players) to kick off the sesons. A signup will come out soon. Thanks to Jessica Sandifer & Johanna Oliver for helping to organize!

Team Parents: Once the teams are finalized, we will be looking for one or two JV and Freshman parents to help organize communications and activities for those teams.

Charitable Cause: Our cause this year is Maddie's Promise. We are hoping to hold a clinic/fundraiser for youth soccer players on Friday, October 17th followed by a double-header Varsity game on Saturday October 18th. Details are still being determined and we will be looking for extra help with this.

Car Wash: An important fundraiser for the program. Each team will be given a time slot for car-washing on a Saturday morning and we will be asking parents to help oversee the kids. We hope to have a date finalized soon. Thanks to Marlie McManus & Kerri O'Neil for helping to organize!

Field Lining: Hingham Youth Soccer pays us to line youth soccer fields in the spring and fall. The spring field lining was handled by the captains and their dads. For the fall, a calendar will be distributed assigning dates to the varsity players/parents. If you are not available on the date assigned to you, you can trade dates with another player/family.

Community Service: Each year we choose a day and activity to complete community service as part of the Bottle & Can Drive. We receive funds for the program in exchange for the work and the players that participate receive community service hours. We will be looking for one or two parents to help coordinate this event.

Gray Practice Shirts - "You'll Never Walk Alone"

Pop-Up Shop - Already occurred & we are anxiously awaiting our fun new gear!

Photography - Professional Team and Game Photos by Joshua Ross

Pasta Parties - Organized by team, usually weekly throughout the season

Homecoming & Holiday Fair Tables / Merchandise - We will need volunteers for this

Senior Night - We will need volunteers for this

Program Book - Compilation of pictures and game stats for all players

Media/Communications

Banquet - For all players and parents/guardians, will be Sunday, November 23

Tryouts & Coach Comments

Tryouts started last Monday with 85 kids, teams will be finalized this week.

Information will continue to be emailed, posted on FB, and available on the website. We strongly encourage you to bookmark the site as it has (or will soon have) LOTS of information about teams, schedules, etc.

Dues for 2025 are $150 per player or $250 max per family. Booster dues are separate from the athletic fees paid to the high school. All booster dues are used in support of HHS Boys Soccer. Preferred payment is by venmo. Can also be paid by check made out to HHS Boys Soccer Boosters and given to Kellie Monroe.
