ST. LOUIS EXPRESS MEN'S BASEBALL CLUB

The 2025 season ended in grand fashion for the Express, as they captured their 3rd STLMBL Champsionship.  After finishing with the best record in the regular season with a 16-3 record, the Express reached the finals for the second year in a row.  They faced off against the Vipers, who accounted for 2 of their 3 regular season losses.

The Vipers took game 1 5-0 behind a complete Game shutout 1 from Matt Pay.  Facing elimination, the Express took Game 2 behind a stellar pitching performance from Andrew Greek and Bryce Wear.  With the season on the line, the Express bats woke up by scoring in each of the first 4 innings of game 3, taking a 9-2 lead into the late innings.  A balanced offense made the difference for the Express, as each spot in the lineup comtributed with at least 1 hit or run scored.  Joe Dattoli's 3 RBI's and Alex Bline's 3 runs paced the attack.  Logan Spalt contined his torrid postseason with his 8th RBI of the tournament.

Bryce Wear finished with his 9th inning pitched of the day, following his Game 1 save with a CG victory.  The celebration continued well into the night.  The Express and Vipers played a total of 7 games against each other in the 2025 season.  The deciding Game 3 clinched the Championship series, as well as a 4-3 edge on the season series.  The Express 11-2 win in Game 3 put a cap on another fantastice season!
