Congratulations Frosty Dawgs

In what looks like a virtual-playoff cliching scenario, the Frosty Dawgs split at the beach against the Patriots in two hard-fought close games.  Game one saw the Frosties fall short with an excellent oppurtunity to win -- however the ball did not bounce our way and the game was dropped 24-22.  The Frosties came out on fire in game two, smacking three home runs in the first inning -- one each by coach Freddo, Tom "the Chair" Frem, and CCD Greg Kalina.  Big Pete Apostolides hit the game tying shot in the last inning of game two, and Chris "Peanut Butter Jelly" Catania sac'ed in the go ahead run.  The powerful Patriots lineup still had to get up though -- after a leadoff single, excellent communication and positioning by Anthony "Boom Boom" Bruno and the CCD resulted in an easy double play.  The game then ended on a flyout snagged by Joe "Dead Pull" Musalo, who also had a monster day at the plate.

The Frosties look likely to be in the playoffs -- but a perfect storm could derail it.  The league is attempting to schedule a make-up game against the 1st place 495ers next week -- and dependant on who plays who and the run differential -- well, we just ask you all to stay tuned.
