Flat Frosties split again with Pipe

A much anticipated match-up between two teams fans have been dying to see face against one another, the Frosties played Pipe for the third time in four weeks at foggy Shell Creek Field in Island Park last night.  A stipulation was placed on the games where composites would be used game one followed by non-composites game two.

The Frosties only 375 couldn't even make it out of batting practice, but luckily Patriot Phil's arsenal of non-composites allowed the Frosties to continue.

The Frosties were unbelievably flat the entire day.  The composite match-up saw the Frosties only manage 7 runs and drop the game 8-7.  Game two, the non-composite match-up ended up in a come-from-behind win in extra innings by the score of 10-9.   Big Pete "Jose Reyes" Apostolides had two big triples and still leads the team in that category.  Joe "Dead Pull" Musalo's seeing eye single with the bases loaded proved to be the winning hit.  Patriot Phil did an excellent job keeping the Pipe offense in check.

We move onto next Monday versus the Cougars at Jones Beach.  See you there!
