Friday night split for the Frosties

November 2, 2009
The Frosties ended their Fall regular season with a split at Sawyer Ave. Friday night, dropping game 1 17-12 and winning game 2 20-8.

A revamped Who Cares squad with a few ringers gave the Frosties a new look.  However, the Frosties did some of the same.  Calling down the rescue squad in Lou "the Natural" Ohle, Patriot Dom Toscano, and Danny P the Frosties were able to field a team and stay competitive.

Game one saw the Frosties never get out of their hole they dug, with a little help from very questionable calls from the umpire and some bad baserunning mistakes.  Senior Advisor Freddo took full advantage of the lefty-haven Sawyer Ave park by putting out two homeruns.  Rob "the Regulator" Goerke had a big clutch two-RBI hit to make things interesting.  Joe "FedEx" Musalo went 3-3.

Frosties regrouped and game out firing in game two by runruling Who Cars 20-8.  Frosty bombs by Lou "the Natural" Ohle, Senior Advisor Freddo, and two by the CCD, including the game-ender highlighted the evening.  Dom caught fire as did Danny P as did well pretty much everybody else.

Frosty management could not post the scores since the game was never officially placed on the New Alliance website.  The scores were called in but Frosty Management fully expects no action to be taken by the league.  Supposedly, playoffs start this week.  There are make-up games early in the week and the league informed us that we may play later on.  We will let you know when we know.  So please just stay tuned.
