May 4, 2011

With the franchise's very existence on the line just hours before last night's game, the Frosties were back in action, reassembled, and got right back to business by taking two over Venom by scores of 20-5 and 33-18. A windy and gusty night certainly did not effect the Frosty bats as perfect nights at the plate were recorded by Glenn "TBA" Graepel, Joe "Dead Pull" Muzzzalo, Coach Freddo, and John "Woody" Woodworth. Glenn also smacked out 3 home runs and totaled 11 RBIs on the night. Other bombs were launched by Tom "the Chair" Frem and Artie "Pants" Maisano. Every Frosty had a good night at the plate including three swings and misses, one each from Tom "GQ" Kalina to lead off the season, the CCD whiffing at a outside pitch, and Chris "PBJ" Catania.
The Frosties also welcomed Sony "Batman" Singh to the mix who providing an excellent contribution with 5 hits and solid defense.
The Frosties move on to play Farrell's at Venetian next Thursday the 12th. The schedule is posted. Stats are also posted and GOOD GOD, Island scorekeepers are off - apparently, walks count as outs. Take note!
