Frosties split again - remain at .500

Under the threat of rain showers and fending off an attack of biting gnats, the Frosties split with Duffy's Wing House last night at Venetian.  Frosty bats were pretty silent all night with the exception of one big 14-run inning in game 1 that put Duffy's away 23-9.  The Frosties led all game two, but an 8-run comeback in the top of the 7th by Duffy's erased the Frosties 5-run lead - resulting in a game 2 loss of 16-13.

John "Woodness" Woodworth had a terrific game one in his first game in the leadoff spot since 1982 readching base three out of four times.  Bombs by Artie "Pants" Maisano and Tom "TK" Kalina in game one led the offense.  Brain "the dirtiest player in the game" Goerke pitched an excellent game one.  In game two - the Frosties hit...what!..no home runs.  This is absolutely terrible.  The CCD almost hit one, but it ended up just going straight up.  Coach Freddo's homerless drought continues as well.

The Frosties look to next Tuesday against TJ Finleys at Venetian.  Bobby V will be in India for the next 3 weeks or was it Indonesia.  Regardless - he won't be there.  Just stay tuned.  Blobs in the forecast Tuesday.
