The Frosties picked up two solid wins at Venetian last night - downing TJ Finley's by scores of 15-8 and 12-8. With winds blowing in from center and a dead ball, Frosties had to rely on small ball to pick apart TJ Finleys.
The triumphant return of Joe "Stats" Gonzalez brought a positivity factor the Frosties sorely needed and kept the dugout loose, but focused. Sal "Seeds" Mancuso also made his 2nd return this year and provided a strong hitting display that kept the offense moving. Coach Freddo started to look like the Coach Freddo of old with several lasers to right. The CCD, sporting his retro Blue Thunder uniforn joined by TK and CC in honor of Joe G, had a perfect night at the plate going 7-7. Chris "PBJ" Catania also had a big day with 5 hits in retro. Glenn "G" Graepel also a very solid night with several big hits. Bobby V had a big game one and then a clutch double in game 2. Boom Boom Bruno continued his solid pace and Matt "Mattdawg" Karlin came up with some big hits and kept the atitude positive in the dugout.
The Frosties were then kicked out of the parking lot yet again after 10 minutes following the game. Terrible. We look to next Tuesday for our final regular season game against Duffy's Wing House. While the seedings for the playoffs are locked in, this week could be a good week to try out some experiments on defense. Please stay tuned.
