Fundamentals.  Defense, pitching, timely hitting.  The Frosties did it all last night at Fireman's Field and walked off with two dominating victories by scores of 13-3 and 15-3 - all in about an hour and a half. 

 

The Frosty defense was outstanding last night.  And with the dirtiest player in the game dominating the hill, the Frosties could not be stopped.  As for the bats, a re-taped red and green bat made a tremendous difference - as excellent call by Coach Freddo.  Pretty much everyone (except the CCD) had a good night at the plate.  Sal "Seeds" Mancuso was calling his shots before he got up.  And then he delivered.  3 bombs on the night.  Coach Freddo, Tom "the Chair" Frem, Lou Ohle, Artie "Pants" Maisano, and Bobby Versacci (X2) all also went yard.  Boom Boom Bruno was on fire but again remains non-committal to next week.

 

Excellent performance by the Frosties.  The finals start next week and Tuesday is the scheduled night.  Blobs everywhere may change that date.  We'll just stay tuned.
