Scotty Bussell (2g 1a) and Ryan Moorhouse (1g 2a) led the Bombers by contributing 3 points each as the Bombers shut out East Longmeadow 5-0 Thursday night at the Olympia.  CJ Czarnecki was solid in net making 20 saves in his 3rd shutout of the season.  Matt Bacon and Gavin Carzello scored the other Bomber goals.  Carzello was outstanding on defense as was Liam Webster controlling the breakout and keeping the Spartans off the board.  Joe Taupier had a strong game up front with some physical play on the forecheck. 

The win broke a 2-game losing skid for the Bombers and puts their record at 6-4 (3-2 in the Berry Division) at the midway point of the season.  They face Algonquin on Saturday at Amelia Park (5pm).  The Tomahawks are the 8th ranked D3 team in Massachusetts.  Should shed some light on the Bombers future hopes.
