In one of the most embarrassing and disgusting efforts of all time, the lifeless Frosty Dawgs laid two eggs last night at Newbridge Park, dropping two to the Patriots by scores of 24-23 and 19-5.  We will offer no highlights as the majority of the batting order, while solid for periods during game one, did not produce and the team defense took a night off.  Pitching was also very subpar.

 

Grumblings amongst senior management has coach Freddo placed squarely on the chopping block and a move seems imminent.  The likely candidate to replace coach Freddo would be former GM and current CCD Greg Kalina.  Although suffering through a severe slump and more sandbagging accusations at softballnut.com, the CCD with his impressive career coaching win/loss record may be what this team needs.  Other candidates include Rob "the Regulator" Goerke and CFO Nicky Harrison.  Rob is not a favorite at this time due to possible conflicts with his other coaching assignments.  CFO Nicky Harrison just may not have the experience this job demands.  No word on whether any switch will take place at this time.  We just ask you all to stay tuned.
