Frosty Dawgs gobble down a quick two at Mitchel Field

June 25, 2008 – 07:24 AM
On a night with no rain in sight, the Frosty Dawgs showed up to Mitchel Field and took two wins against Jack Daniels.

Management, trying to make nice with all Frosty roster players, set the power-surged line-up -- which actually didn't hit up to the high Frosty standards -- but good enough for 15-4 and 13-1 wins.

The first game saw the Frosties get on top early started by a Coach Freddo home run down the right field line.  The Frosties coasted their way to a win and quickly started up game two.

Game two saw a flat Frosty offense finally turn it on in the 4th inning, putting up 10 runs in the bottom to run-rule Jack Daniels.  Brian "Casino" Goerke wanted 11 runs sliding into home after the winning run scored.  All Frosty team memebers did not want to stop Brian rounding third as -- well we don't know.  Tom "the Chair" Frem hit a jack and Coach Freddo hit a Google Earth shot.  Big nights for virtually all Frosty Dawgs so the CCD will save bandwidth.  You know we love you.

Next game is Friday at the beach 9pm.  CCD loves Fridays.  Rescue Dawg search in full effect.  Stay tuned.
