FROSTIES ON FIRE

June 7, 2010
With the CCD's head spinning from work and moving and frustrating injuries, recaps have been scarce over the past several days.  The Frosties,  however, continue on their focused journey to the 2nd place crown of ABA's top division.

The Frosty bats are red hot, as evidenced by the five out of six games the Frosties took over the past 5 days.  The Frosties swept the Shockers at Jones Beach last Wednesday night, split with the Destroyers at JB West Friday, and then swept the Brew Crew at Newbridge Monday.

Many members of the Frosties have put up very impressive numbers during the past six games: Danny "New Guy" Petrone, loving the leadoff role, was 12-14 in the four games he was present, Coach Freddo was 17-23 with 4 HR's and 24 RBIs including two grand slams over the period, "Patriot" Phil Toscano remains undefeated and sported an 11-15 streak over the past six.  Brian "the Assassin" Goerke is absolutely smoldering at 13 for his last 16, Artie "Pants" has 16 RBIs over the last six, Glenn "Rescue Dawg" Graepel is 11 for his last 19 with 2HRs and 8 RBIs, Tom "the Chair" Frem is 15 for his last 23 with an insane 6 HRs and 19 RBIs.  The Moose is 14-17 with 2 HRs and 9 RBIs.  Everyone else not mentioned is well over .500 as well - except for one individual (3-11 or 6-20) shipped to the DL.

The Frosties move on to Pronto next Wednesday at Mitchel field for a meaningless game.  See you there!
