Frosty Bats come alive!

July 22, 2011
In impressive fashion last night, the Frosty bats began to make some noise with two big wins over Duffy's Wing House by scores of 27-17 and 21-12.  Frosty bats were on fire and in control most of the hot and humid night.

Sal "Seeds" Mancuso led the offensive onslaught with eight hits, three homers, and 12 RBI.  One of his bombs was measured by Frosty researchers at about 373 feet.  Tom "the Chair" Frem also added a bomb and eight hits.  Coach Freddo had seven hits on his own and a bomb.  Lou "the Natural" Ohle had six hits plus a homer.  The CCD somehow managed six hits with some terrible swings and two homers.  John "Woody" Woodworth had five hits, some very clutch, and a perfect game two.  All other Frosties had solid nights at the plate including Sony "Batman" Singh with his bat that sounded like he dropped a tray of dishes when hit.  Also, we cannot not recognize Joe "Dead Pull" Musalo swinging his 20-year old Easton Hammer he picked up at Caldor in 1991.

The Frosties are off next week and get to rest up for the home stretch.  The team has a stranglehold on second place and with two wins the following week should officially clinch.  As always, we ask all of you to continue to stay tuned.
