In a soggy, rainy Venetian last night, the Frosties - after their 9 month slumber - and with limited practice - came out on fire against Duffy's Wing House, winning both games by scores of 34-2 and 22-21.

 

Everyone in the the lineup contributed tremendously.  Notable highlights include Tom "the Chair" Frem with 5 bombs and 13 RBI.  Lou Ohle had a perfect night at the dish including two HRs and 10 RBIs.  The under-the-weather and whining CCD knocked out four of his own and picked up two W's.  New guy Bobby Versacci had an excellent day at the plate including a HR into the nets in right field.  Everyone else had great games at the plate.  Defense was off and on all night as typical Frosty ball brings.  Scorebook was an absolute disaster.

 

Our next game seems to be at Firemans vs. last year's division winners Excel Aire next Thursday.  Of course, the league has changed the schedule 15 times since two weeks ago so who knows.  I guess you'll just have to stay tuned.
