Frosties back on track! Take two from Finleys!

July 11, 2012
The Frosties came down to Venetian with a mean face last night and took down TJ Finleys by scores of 21-9 and 16-14.  The team motivated by the mid-week resignation and game-time re-designation of coach Freddo put together two solid wins.  No long ball for the Frosties this time as the humidity kept the ball in grounds as the night went on.  Only Anthony "Boom Boom" Bruno's game 2 leadoff HR to left cleared the fences on the evening.  With DL returns of Coach Freddo and Tom "the Chair" Frem, the offense stepped up a notch and the overall defense was the Frosty's best of the season - which in all is not much to be said.

The CCD picked up the win in game one ending the Frosty extended losing streak and Sony "Batman" Singh rang up 4 scoreless innings in a row to pick up the win in game 2.  Coach Freddo in one of his boldest moves ever surprisingly placed the erractic CCD in the closer role to finish game 2 but the strategy worked and the CCD is happy with the save.  The CCD enjoys his move to the bullpen and has approached management with the idea of becoming exclusively the Frosty closer.

In other news, apparently the black bat is now the bat of choice for Frosties.  Later, controversy erupted as black bat followers and red bat followers discussed the Bat-Gate saga.  Will the black bat return?  Will Coach Freddo make any more daring moves?  What does the future hold for the Frosties?  All these questions and more to be answered this next Tuesday at Venetian.  Please stay tuned.
