COVID-19 Guidelines

  

  • Every coach will be responsible for their players, parents, and spectators pertaining to COVID-19 regulations 
  • Every player, coach, and spectator must fill out COVID-19 health screening prior to attending each days games using the following link. https://form.jotform.com/202935975780165
  • Coaches are recommended to have hand sanitizer in the dugout for their teams
  • Spectators are not permitted behind home plate, near the dugout areas, or down the baselines. Spectators must watch the game from beyond 1st and 3rd base or from the outfield.
  • Maximum of 5 players are permitted in the dugouts simultaneously. The remaining players must practice social distancing outside of the dugout in the bleachers or behind home plate.
  • Masks/face coverings are to be worn by spectators at all times as per Town of Islip regulations
  • Mound Visits are allowed provided Managers adhere to 6ft social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering
  • The Home Plate Umpire will be positioned behind the Pitcher until restrictions have eased
  • Each team will provided be two baseballs or one softball before each game and will use their provided balls  each time they take the field for defense and collect them when the inning ends.
  • No post-game handshake
  • No post-game congregating or meeting with players on the field or in the dugouts. Teams must leave the field immediately following completion of the game.
  • No team can begin to enter the dugout or the field until the previous players and coaches have cleared out. Games will be staggered the best they can to assist with this.
  • Compliance is expected at local fields for all policy and procedures in accordance with COVID-19
  • DUE TO COVID 19 WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE CONCESSIONS THIS YEAR. PLEASE PREPARE ACCORDINGLY.
  • NO TAILGATING PERMITTED
  • THERE ARE NO TENTS ALLOWED AT ANY FIELD
