Named a co-captain ...2004: Appeared in 26 games for Coastal, making 22 starts... Named to the Big South All-Tournament team after going 2-for-4 with two hits and two RBI in Coastal's win over Birmingham-Southern, May 29, for its fourth straight conference title... Had three hits in a 5-3 win over Birmingham-Southern May 28 ... Hit .355 with 16 runs scored, five doubles, a home run and 16 RBI... Had a .461 slugging percentage and a .462 on-base percentage... Was out from Feb. 23 to May 1 with a stress fracture... Came in as an injury replacement to Michael DeJesus May 2 against fourth-ranked Miami and went 2-for-2 with a double and a home run, while driving in three runs in a 13-11 loss... Went 5-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored in a 15-12 win over High Point... Has Coastal`s only five-hit game of the season... Went 2-for-3 in his first game at Coastal, Feb. 8 against Delaware State...

 

BEFORE COASTAL CAROLINA:Transferred from Bellevue Community College, where he was a second team All-NWAACC selection as an infielder... Also made the NWAACC All-Tournament team... Went to Washington State University his freshman season...

GENERAL: Earned three varsity letters for coach Wyatt Tonkin…switch-hitter…FRESHMAN: Was MVP of junior varsity team...team went 16-4...called up for varsity action for playoffs...varsity team was WesCo 3A District Champions...SOPHOMORE: Named team’s Most Improved Player...hit .330 as starting leftfielder, boosting average to .560 in postseason...team went 21-4 and repeated as district champions...JUNIOR: Named second team All-WesCo as an infielder...named team’s most inspirational player...batted .350, including three-for-four performance (which included a home run) in district championship game...team went 23-4 and was WesCo 4A District Champions...SENIOR (2000-01): First team All-WesCo...batted .460 with 25 stolen bases and hit safely in 24 of 29 games for team that went 25-4 and repeated as district champions...team finished third in state...was named team’s “Mr. Defense.”
