U14 time slot 2pm
U12 time slot 12:30pm
U10 time slot 9:30am could be moved to 11 (week to week) to keep 3 games in a row
U8 rookie time 8am but is varied based off of field allowance.

Schedule - Has not come out yet
Saugus Pop Warners schedule is made by Regional Pop Warner Board Members. We are told where and when we play sometimes on a days notice. THERE IS NO SCHEDULE AS OF TODAY. But is expected Wednesday or Thursday of this week. They try to schedule a whole league vs a whole league for commuting reasons but here are a few reasons this can be difficult to schedule and why sometimes a weekly schedule can change!
Example 1: Some levels of Saugus will play different fields than the rest
Saugus vs Woburn @ Woburn
Woburn does not have the same level of teams that we do (ex: U14). The EMASS board now has to fill in a game for Saugus U14 that could possibly mean this team has to travel somewhere else.
Example 2: Why we don't know a finalized schedule yet
You must have a minimum of 16 kids to field a football team. Some leagues have 15 and are working around the clock to gain that one. Sometimes it takes to the last minute of when the books need to be turned in. So this is another reason the schedule is so delayed.
Frequently asked question: What does "The Books" mean?
Terminology "The Books"= The book that we make for each team with all of the registration paperwork. A team can not be considered a team until all registration paperwork is turned in and signed off by EASTERN MASS POP WARNER. If one report card is missing there is no team by a certain deadline.
When all books of everyone's paperwork are completed among the leagues they can then make a schedule! Another reason why the paperwork is VITAL to be turned in so a schedule can be finalized. If you have not yet returned your registration materials, please do so ASAP. The school is open, please get your report card in ASAP. Medical Clearance for Sports forms are absolutely essential for our kids to play safely as is the Code of Conduct. Please check with your Cheer or Football Leadership teams if you have not given us all your necessary paperwork so we can resolve this ASAP.

Example 3: What can make a schedule change week to week?
Each week can vary in schedule due to injuries. A team of 16 gets one kid that is injured they have 15 and can not play. EMASS board will now have to work find a replacement team.
I assure you I am asking everyday for the schedule and am contacting all the presidents of each league each week to get the inside scoop on all of their teams and I wlll continue to keep all of you informed in real time as soon as I have information.
