Blue Devils drop one to Webster Schroeder

On Tuesday, 12/18 at the Rochester Ice Center, the Victor Blue Devils took on the Webster Schroeder Warriors in a Division 2 League matchup.  The Blue Devils found themselves chasing the game from the get-go when Webster got on the board first early in the first period.  After a shaky start, Victor got their skating game going and soon found themselves on the powerplay.  The Blue Devils tied the game up late in the first period on the power-play.  Senior Co-Captain defender Connor Gelabert put a wrister by the Warriors goalie, with the assist coming from Sophomore forward Alex Parton.  Junior GK Pieter Bartelse came up huge throughout the game, making some big saves to keep the Blue Devils in it!  Unfortunately, due to some faulty hockey goals/ nets, and in some cases the Hockey Gods just not being kind to the Blue Devils, Victor failed to have another goal count for the rest of the game.  The Blue Devils next game is home against McQuaid at the Rochester Ice Center (RIC).  The puck will drop at 5:00 PM.  In addition, this coming Saturday is "Victor Hockey Day" at the RIC!  Please see flyer on this website's homepage for more information!  COME ON OUT TO CELEBRATE "VICTOR HOCKEY" AND CHEER ON YOUR BLUE DEVILS THIS COMING SATURDAY!
