On Saturday, 1/12/19, the Victor Blue Devils played Massena HS in their second game of their North Country trip.  The game was a contest of wills that was also a rematch of last year's Division 1 State Semi-Final.  Scoring for the game began with Massena, but the Blue Devils answered at the end of the first period with Sophomore forward Alex Parton putting the puck into the back of Massena's net on the power play.  Senior defenseman Josh Albert and Junior forward Jack McCandless assisted on Alex's goal.  Victor took the lead midway through the second period as a result of hard work and effort on the forecheck.  Sophomore forward Cal Lambert scored his fourth goal of the season, with assists coming from forwards Sam Breeson and Roman Czornobil.  Massena tied the game up a couple of minutes later, and the game remained tied at the end of regulation.  In the OT, Massena countered after the Blue Devils failed to convert on the powerplay and numerous chances to win the game.  Victor's next game is Tuesday, 1/15/18 at 7:30 PM against Canandaigua at the RIC!  The team expects a loud and positive home crowd for this game!
