Braves Go 1-2 In Junior Legion State Playoffs-- Finish 5th in State Tournament

On June 19th, Braves fall to Morehead City 8-6, On Saturday June 20th Braves lose a heartbreaker to South Rowan 11-4, but rebounds on Sunday June 21 and beat RS Central Rutherford 2-0--due to tiebraker Braves finish 5th in 2019 Junior Legion State Championship.

Braves finish a 2 year run with a record of 39-10, and a 3 year run with a 3rd and 5th place finish in the Junior Legion State Championship.


Braves Fall In Area 1 Championship Game To Cary 10-8

 

Ahoskie Braves Fall in Area 1 Conference Championship Game to Cary 10-8.

Braves entered the Championship Game by beating Cary 6-5 on Friday, Cary advanced to the finals by beating  Fuquay Varina 14-8.

 

After falling behind 9-0, the Braves battled back but the comeback fell short and lost to Cary Bulls on Saturday at Corinth Holders High School.

 

 

 


GRILLED PORK CHOP PLATE FUNDRAISER JUNE 7 WAS A SUCCESS

Ahoskie Post 102 Baseball wants to thank everyone for their support of our Annual "Cookout" Fundraiser which was held on Friday June 7, 2019. This was our first year serving grilled pork chops--kudos for a great job goes to our Main Cooks Mike Bradley, Edward Bradley, Michael Horton, Trent Munford and Brian Pearce. A special thank you to these individuals that made the cookout a SUCCESS---Stacie Brickhouse, John Boone, John Bracy, Matt Bradley, Parker Bradley, Stuart Davis, Jeff Doughtie, Sam Doughtie, David Ellis, Johnnie Farmer, Belinda Harrell, Trent Hobbs, TJ Lassiter, Ann-Marie Munford, Chuck Munford, Conner Munford, Dennis Nelson, Brenden Pearce, Hunter Pearce, Elicia Revelle, Will Revelle, Bryce Stevens and Travis Williams-

Congratulations to our top ticket sellers Stuart Davis (95)-Mike Bradley (75) and Stacie Brickhouse (75)--Stuart is our Acting Athletic Director filling in for Wayne Meeks.... Mike and Stacie will receive an American Legion State Gate Pass which is good for any Junior or Senior American Legion Baseball Game.

2019 Ahoskie Braves


2017 Ahoskie Braves reach final 4 of State Junior Legion Championship for First Time

The Ahoskie Braves played in the 2017 Junior Legion State Championship, winning 2 games and advanced to the final 4.

The Braves beat East Carteret 4-0 and beat Area I Champion Bear Grass 8-5 to advance into the winners bracket of

the final 4.... only to lose to eventual NC State Champion South Caldwell by a score of 13-8.

This marked the first time that an Ahoskie Junior Legion Team reached the final 4.

Congratulations to the Ahoskie Braves for a great season.

Memoiral Day---Ahoskie Post 102 Honors Veterans

On Memorial Day, Monday May 29, before the Junior Legion game Ahoskie Post 102 honored these Veterans and current enlisted military for their service and paid tribute to those that made the ultimate sacrifice.
