COMMUNITY SERVICE

Bethel Diamond Sports has received a grant from the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund. The Reds Community Fund's Youth Baseball Funding initiative provides funding and support to more than 300 baseball and softball teams. Organizations receive funding to purchase uniforms, equipment and cover various operating expenses. To continue under the RCF, we must participate in a minimum of three community service or fundraising activities each year.  We would like as many parents, players, and coaches to support these worthwhile projects.

FIELD DAY

March 23, 2019 – 10:00 AM

Field Day: Community service option 1

 WHEN: Saturday, March 23, 10:00AM

LOCATION: BETHEL BALL FIELDS

Please sign-in at the concession stand.  Some of our projects will include picking up trash, hanging signs, setting out trash cans, raking leaves, and staining picnic tables.  We will need you to bring work gloves, rakes, shovels, wheel barrows, ladders, and other tools.  Make sure your equipment has your name on it somewhere.

We will be taking pictures to send the Reds to show our players out in full force working to make their field and surrounding community better.

BETHEL LION’S CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST

April 6, 2019 – 07:30 AM

Bethel Lions Club:  Community Service Option 2

Lions' Club Pancake Breakfast

LOCATION: Bethel-Tate High School

WHEN: April 6, 2019.  Players will bus tables from 7:30-10:00 am

Players will work in shifts of 30-60 minutes and should wear a team jersey, if available.  Even if your child isn’t working, you can enjoy a pancake breakfast without messing up your kitchen or dirtying your dishes. The price for breakfast is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Please make sure to pay at the table before coming in.  Contact Becca Welch with any questions or to RSVP your child’s or team’s time slot to work.  Becca can be reached at (513) 335-6875. Becca will also be there to take pictures of all the players working hard!

Spring Litter Clean Up: Community Service Option 3

Our third community service event will take place on Saturday, April 13, from 9:00-12:00.

EASTFORK CLEAN-UP

Additional information can be found at http://www.springlittercleanup.com. Please take plenty of pictures! Please share those pictures with Dan Jeffers so he can show the Reds that we care about our community!

Bethel Diamond Sports asks that each team participates in at least one of the community service events.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Becca Welch (513) 335-6875 or Dan Jeffers (513) 767-8329. Thanks!
