 64 teams started out at the Houston Major on the 6 artificial turf "mini" MLB fields in League City, Texas.  The tournament used the Dudley Hycor ball which kept the scores down a little bit compared to last weeks Las Vegas Major.  There were 26 'B' or higher classed teams and in the first round there was one upset of significance as the 'D' team Select Few knocked off Conference 'B' team L&S Glass 9-6 and then went on to beat Panhandle 30-28.  In the second round a few minor upsets continued as Big Ten out of Colorado knocked off Conference team Seminoles out of Oklahoma 28-13, Texas Threat beat Wileys a Florida Conference team 18-16, and Brian's Custom Detailing upset Fence Brokers 22-18.  Remember it was a year ago when Wileys finished in the top 4 of the Houston Major.

What a weekend for BigTen. They bring back 4 BigTen players from the past and go 5-0 to win the 5th Annual DINO GARCIA Memorial Tournament!!

Dino Garcia is the man that built BigTen back in 1989, and as of today his wife Helen Garcia still is sponsoring the team.

Dino wore #25 on his jersey, Saturday was the 25th (Helen and Lennys birthday)  and as the Championship game came to an end BigTen ended up scoring 25 runs to win the game!!

BigTen travels down south to Colorado Springs, CO and makes it to another Championship, but comes up short. After losing their 2nd game they win 3 in a row and force an "IF" game and lose by 1 run in the Championship to SCH.

BigTen wins another Championship!! This time in Loveland, CO. They finally have a full team and cruised to another title, while avg over 20 runs a game and only giving up less than 9 runs.

BigTen finishes 4-2 to take 3rd Place at the 32nd Annual Rocky Mtn. Shootout. They defeated a pretty good D team 23-3. Got revenge on a team from Missouri 20-19, then PROBABLY THE BIGGEST WIN IN BIGTEN HISTORY by defeating a Conference AA team Vivid 38-30. Their 4th game they defeated a B team out of Arkansas Mayhem 32-28 before losing to the Stars late Saturday night. Sunday came around and BigTen had nothing in the tank and fell short to another Conference AA team Racks 40-27

BigTen does decent in Portland

BigTen starts off the tournament by runruling Portland's best "C" team, than later that evening BigTen puts up a good effort to lose to a Major team (Combat).  Saturday rolls around and BigTen demolishes Portland's best "D" by 32 runs! Then the heartbreaker, BigTen loses by 1 run to a very solid "B" team to finish the tournament averaging over 26 runs per game to finish 2-2.

BigTen starts the tournament by CRUSHING a team from New Mexico 22-5 after spotting them 4 runs. They would go on to manhandle everyone else and run ruling a couple teams in the process to go 6-0 and capture Dual #1 Championship.

Its been awhile since BigTen has played a tournament on a SUNDAY, but that didn't affect them as they went 5-0 and beating a team 17-0 and run ruling some others to win Dual #2 Championship.

BigTen wins its 3 Championship of the year by winning the NSA NIT at Kennedy ball fields in Denver, Colorado.

They put on a defensive clinic Saturday by allowing 1 team to reach double digits.
