Blue Thunder Track Club

Welcome to the Blue Thunder website.  We are an award winning, full-fledged youth track club for males and females ages 6-18.  Our club is based in Columbia, Missouri, competes locally, regionally and nationally in Track & Field and Cross Country.  We are partially sponsored by the City of Columbia Parks & Recreation Department.

This site will keep you all informed of the happenings with the club.  Many important and informative files can be found on this page as well.  New information will be posted regularly here and on our Facebook page.  Let us know if you have any ideas that you would like to see with the site.

2024 OUTDOOR TRACK SEASON

Is your child interested in joining our youth running family for the 2024 outdoor track season? 

Blue Thunder is a competitive track club that offers a variety of athletic events for youth ages 6-18 years. The club participates in meets in & out of town. Members are expected to work hard in practices and compete to the best of their abilities.

Our athletes are prepared to compete in:
~ 100m, 200m, 400m Dashes
~ 800m, 1500m, 3000m Runs
~ 4x100m, 4x400m, 4x800m Relays
~ 1500m, 3000m Race Walks
~ Sprint Hurdles & Intermediate Hurdles
~ Shot Put, Discus, Javelin Throws
~ Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump

Bring completed Registration Form and payment (cash, check, money order) to the Armory on Registration Day March 9 or anytime during normal business hours beginning March 11

First practice is scheduled for 6pm, Tuesday, April 2 at Stephens Lake Park. 
Registration available at Armory Sports & Community Center at 701 E. Ash M-F, 8am-6pm.
