Ringette Manitoba received approval to start a phased in return to the the ice in the last week of August.  Further phases have been approved and all information provided up to this point has indicated that no games will be allowed until after December 1st, 2020.  This is also dependent on the current situation with COVID-19 and any subsequent restrictions that may be implemented, however they are optimistic that this is when games are allowed to resume.   

All Associations require approval from Ringette Manitoba before they can start any sanctioned activities, which requires each to submit a Return to Play Plan.  Part of this Plan is to update association websites with appropriate links so at this point we will simply direct people to Ringette Manitoba's Return to Ringette

Registration has been delayed due to a number of reasons but information will be released shortly for those interested.

This is a season not unlike any other we have experienced and will be an ongoing learning experience for everyone.

Registration Information:
 
 
 
GOALIE INCENTIVE
Goalie incentive for U12 and older - a 50% rebate for players that commit to this position.

 

FUNDRAISING
$100 for a booklet of Raffle tickets for each player. 
Booklets will be provided by Team Managers. 
If tickets are sold, the money stays with the parent.
 
 
VOLUNTEERING
Brandon Ringette Association is a volunteer-based organization.
All families will be required to volunteer at various times during the season. 

 

Season Information:  
 
**Season runs from early October to early-March**
Families will be contacted regarding practices and ice times as soon as this information is available.

 

  • Wednesday and Sunday evening ice times for practices beginning at 6:00 at the Kinsmen/Enns Bros Arenas
  • Weekend practice may be cancelled if team is playing a league game

 

*Due to ice not being available at times during the season, arenas outside of Brandon could be booked for some weekend practices.

 

Winnipeg Ringette League - Season begins late October
(schedule available on WRL website)
 
  • U12, U14 and U16 will participate
  • Regular season:  8 games per 1/2 season (16 total) as double-headers. This means 4 game days per half (Nov-Dec & Jan-Feb), or 8 game days in the season.

    • Games are scheduled by the WRL

 

 

Tournament Information:

 

Brandon Ringette plans to host a tournament for all divisions in November 
**It is expected all families volunteer to ensure a successful tournament (tournament committee, prize table, 50/50, etc...)

 

To be confirmed:
Possible out of town tournament(s) during the season. Attendance is at the discretion of each team. Registration fees to attend will be paid by the team.  The cost per player to attend would depend on team size (plus additional travel-associated costs).
 
 
Equipment Information:
 
All players must be in full equipment to participate in practices.  No exceptions.
 
U12, U14 and U16 must wear Ringette pants and a girdle. 
See "Equipment" tab for more information.
 
New jerseys are to be worn for games only.
 
Application of name bars is at your own risk.  Do not use glue! Damage to the jerseys will result in loss of your jersey deposit.
