A bitter sweet victory!  This was the girls last opportunity to play together as a team, and they decided to go out on top, with a win at the Dome.

The weekend yielded 17 dingers for team O'Keefe, and tons fun as a team. The level of fun elevated when the big hitters came to plate, more so when SLUGGER  Jess "Pounder" Patterson stepped to the plate -- it was a sight for sore eyes!

Through the entire weekend the girls stayed extremely positive even for a game concluded @ 11:40 pm Friday night -- while waiting for the game before them Friday night to conclude they found time to cheer on other local teams, and teams from around the Northeast they had played during the season -- this did not go unnoticed -- the team was awarded the 2018 USSSA National Championship Sportsmanship Award by "unanimous vote"  by the event organizers, umpires and coaches.

The Fusion Way!
