Updated COVID Procedures for 2020 Tryouts

August 8, 2020

In light of new guidance from the Carroll County Department of Health, the following procedures are in effect immediately for our travel baseball program during our tryouts:

  • Spectators will be required to wear masks while at the complex.  If spectators don’t want to wear masks, they must wait in their vehicles.  This is non-negotiable.
  • Players and coaches will be required to wear masks on the way in/out of the fields and while in the dugouts.  It is suggested (but not required) that they wear it out in the field of play.  Coaches will be required to wear masks whenever they cannot physically distance from players.
  • We will have them space their equipment out 6’ apart along the fence line and also use hand sanitizer on the way in/out of the tryout and encourage social distancing as much as possible (ie spread them out on the field when hitting ground balls/fly balls)
