Respect History

Congratulations to Tainos for winning the 2016 Spring League.

They outlasted and simply made more plays vs The Aces and won two close games.
Both games went down to the wire but Tainos had an answer for every rally by the Aces with a rally of their own or a big defensive play.
"Money" who plays right field for tainos earned MVP honors. In game 1, he threw out a would be base runner at 2nd and had the walk off hit in the bottom of the 7th to win the game after the Aces scored 7 to tie the game in the top half of the inning. "Money" finished the day going 6 for 9 with 5 RBI.
While the entire team was doing their part hitting for the Champs, Carmine and Ray stood out. Ray went 5 for 5 in game 1 with 3 RBIs helping his squad to victory. The Aces couldnt keep Carmine off the bases as he went 8 for 10 and 3 RBIs on the day.

While these guys stood out, it was truly a team effort that helped get by the Aces.
