Welcome to the Lady Red Devils Basketball Booster Club Family!

 

 Our athletes need your support!

 

Booster Club Mission


The Booster Club is a group of parent volunteers dedicated to enhancing the Central Basketball experience for each one of our daughters.


 


Booster Club Meetings


The Booster Club meets monthly (November, December, January, February and March) at the High School to discuss ways it can add to our athletes’ positive experiences throughout the season. In addition, the Booster Club is dedicated to creating a memorable end-of-the-year banquet for our athletes.


 


Booster Club Membership: A membership form and donation of $30 per family is requested. The form helps us create a player database so when there are last-minute changes to game schedules, we can get these urgent messages out to you. The $30 helps cover start-up costs for the new season and required deposits for the end-of-year banquet, clothing screen fees and Devils Den T-shirts.  Please submit your membership by December 23, 2016.


 


Booster Club Magic


The Booster Club runs several fundraisers to raise money for our athletes, including:


Team Poster Sponsorship: The Team Poster contains pictures of all the athletes and the season schedule. Sponsorship of this poster helps us cover the cost of food/snacks for away games. To that end, we ask each player to obtain at least two business sponsorships and one family sponsorship. Companies are asked to make a minimum donation of $50.  The sponsoring company and family will be listed on the poster. Forms are available in this packet and are due by December 23rd.


Spirit Clothing:  Lady Red Devils clothing was for sale through Darrow’s Sporting Edge through December 6th.  We’re hoping for delivery prior to Winter Break.


Snack Stand Sales: At each home game, parents are assigned a turn working the Snack Stand—it’s a fun way to meet the parents of other athletes. A work schedule is enclosed in this packet.  We understand that conflicts arise some times, so if you can’t cover the time you were assigned that’s OK, but it is your responsibility to find a substitute.  Please let Susan Fischer know if you switch your assigned time so she is aware of who is showing up to work. Your assignments will not interfere with watching your daughter’s game.


50/50 Raffle Ticket Sales: There is a 50/50 raffle held at each Varsity home game.  We need two volunteers for each home game and Sending District games.  A 50/50 work schedule is enclosed in this packet.  As with the snack stand, if you cannot work at your assigned game, it is your responsibility to find a substitute and then advise Susan Fischer of this change.


Applebees Breakfast:  There is a Lady Red Devil Breakfast planned for  from 8am – 10am. The players will host and serve the people who attend.  We are asking each family to sell 6 tickets at $12 each. Checks and cash should be provided by the players to one of the Sholehvar girls or Connie Sholehvar by . Unsold tickets should be returned.


 


We understand that the basketball season begins at a very busy and occasionally stressful holiday season. We know that everyone is stretched to the limit, but if each of us takes a turn, we can all contribute to making this a great season for our athletes. These high school years go by quickly.  Let’s enjoy watching our athletes and supporting them in every way we can.
