Hoboken Little League Spring Baseball Registration – Coming Soon!

Registration for Hoboken Little League’s spring baseball season will open from late January through late February for players ages 7–16.

All players must complete the required online registration before the deadline to participate.

Once registration opens, instructions, enrollment links, and program information will be available on the Hoboken Little League website (“League Lineup”).

Registration requirements vary by age and division, so families are encouraged to review league age cutoffs and division guidelines before registering. More information can be found under the "Headlines" on the website. 

Game/practice schedules and additional season details will be shared in March after registration concludes. 

Important Registration Notes:

• All required documents must be uploaded directly through the Blue Sombrero registration portal (e.g., birth certificate, residency documents/school enrollment form, etc).

• Prepare documents in advance to ensure completion before the deadline 

• Families can begin completing their player's school enrollment form and/or gathering required residency documents in advance of registration

• Residency requirements and instructions can be reviewed in the Headlines section on the website
• A blank copy of the online school enrollment form can be downloaded directly from the website (also under the "Headlines" section)

• Returning volunteers should begin completing the Annual Abuse Awareness Course and have their certification ready for registration. Be aware of the updated process for this course.

IMPORTANT UPDATE 

2026 Mandatory Abuse Awareness Course for Volunteers (NEW GUIDELINES)

The safety and well-being of all participants in the Little League® program are our top priority. Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring a fun, memorable, and safe experience every year. All volunteers are required to complete the Little League Abuse Awareness Course annually. Little League International is proud to announce the launch of the NEW Little League Abuse Awareness Course, which replaces previous programs offered through third-party organizations like USA Baseball. It is specifically tailored to the Little League program and designed to provide a simpler, more effective learning experience for our volunteers.

The course takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Upon finishing, participants will receive a certificate, which must be downloaded and then uploaded to Blue Sombrero during registration. 

All volunteers (new and returning) will need to take the course BEFORE completing their registration on Blue Sombrero.

HLL registration will be opening in late January - more information will be announced soon. In the meantime, the course, along with instructions, can be accessed through the Little League training portal at LittleLeague.org/Training

We strongly encourage all returning board members, officers, coaches, and managers to begin completing the course now so it’s ready before registration opens.

1. Sign in or create an account
2. Locate and select the option for the "Abuse Awareness Course"
3. Follow instructions to complete the course (approx 45 mins) & take the exam to receive a certificate upon completion
4. Download and save the completion certificate in a safe place
5. Once registration opens, upload the certificate directly to Blue Sombrero before finalizing registration

Important Reminder: This year, certificates must be directly uploaded to Blue Sombrero, per new Little League International guidelines.
