The Lawnton Angels are preparing for the new season that is
right around the corner.  The 2018 roster has been updated.  This year,
the Angels have signed 4 new players, and said farewell to
several seasoned veterans.  The new Angels include Logan Zugay,
Ray Schreffler, Jeff Welsh and Josh Curtis.  We also bid farewell to
some gentlemen who have been solid members of the Angels
organization for many years.....Adam Reedy, Brad Remig and - of
course - our former manager Mike Moglia who has managed
the club since our inaugural season in 2008.

Schedule will be updated shortly.  Opening day is Sunday, April 8th.
Looking forward to some Angels baseball !!!!

Angels exit in first round of playoffs, lose to Royals 8-6.

The boys were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs
by a formidable opponent, losing 8-6 to the Royals, thus
concluding the 10th season of the Angels organization.

Manager Mike Moglia, an original and valued member of the
Lawnton Angels family, managed his final game and is
retiring from his duties as team boss.  Thanks to Mike from the entire
Angels team for his dedication and leadership over
the last 10 seasons!

The 2017 edition of Angels baseball is on the way.
A new roster, the new schedule and other team
information will be posted by the end of March.

Opening day this year is Sunday, April 9th........

ANGELS BASEBALL 2015>>>>>>>>

ANGELS COME UP SHORT IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP:  The Boys fought back from an 11-run deficit,
but fell short to the Monroe Mariners in the CPOT League Championship Game.  Despite a mediocre
regular season, the Angels managed to turn it on during the home-stretch, and had a great playoff run.
Congrats to the Mariners on the win and a great game.  Congrats to the LAWNTON ANGELS for the
never-quit attitude.  See you in February with updates as we get ready for the 2016 Season.

Hayes Kelly (22) covering right field duty so far, and Eric Bush (28) filling a pitching spot and playing some infield......This is ANGELS baseball!

2011....the season that got away....but, the boys will be back!

From a team perspective looking at wins and losses, the 2011 season
offered little comfort, especially since it was filled with delays,
new and ongoing injuries, and ultimately, unplayed games. 2012
will - hopefully - see a return to the Angels team that we know.

That being said, it seems like a good time to re-celebrate what
this team has accomplished over 4 seasons. 3 divisions titles,
a league championship, and heroic efforts all the way around
the diamond are certainly no small feats.

Take a moment to look at the body of work the Lawnton Angels
have done since 2008....Click on the Link below for the Angels
All-Time statistics, spanning from 2008-2011. Many great
players, and more importantly - good people - have worn
the "Angels Red" since our inaugural season.

The Game Results and Statistics for all 4 years individually
can still be found on the Past Seasons - Results/Stats page.

Check back during the off-season as new photos from 2011
will be posted.
